Island Dreaming!

 "Ashton" is a 15.3hh, 5yr old, rose grey, registered TB gelding. He is a super CUTE mover with a nice steady trot and a wonderful lopey canter. Ashton is also great over fences. He is quiet and very easy to ride both in the ring as well as on trails! Goes in a rubber snaffle and has great brakes. He has a great personality and wants to be everyone's best friend. Sound, no vices.

Ashton came to us on consignment and we fell in love with him! He is a great addition to our lessons and show team! He is currently half leased.

Ashton has been showing with us in the hunter ring and has brought home champion or reserve just about every time out!

This spring/summer Ashton has also competed in a Hunter Pace (his team coming in 3rd for optimum time) as well as several "hunt trail rides" and other day trips to Brandy Station Battlefield and others. He rides out in a rubber snaffle, stands quietly, doesn't mind cows or sheep, crosses deep water, handles steep hills and rocky terrain with no problem. He will ride abreast, in front or behind and doesn't mind if horses ride off from the group. He has never spooked at anything on our rides. He self loads on the trailer, travels with anyone and stands quietly in or tied to a trailer all day long.

Just to add one more thing to the list of things Ashton is great at, he competed in several western shows this season bringing home ribbons in the western pleasure and trail classes along with the games!

the picture above was taken on one of our hunt trail rides. Notice the airplane landing in the background. We had to park next to the airport runway, he didn't care about the planes taking off, landing or flying low overhead!
